King’s Hawaiian Recipe Rivalry

Premise: Built as a section of King’s Hawaiian’s Facebook page, the King’s Hawaiian Recipe Rivalry campaign focused on: introducing recipes to the core audience of party planners for upcoming March Madness events and spreading the King’s Hawaiian brand name through social sharing.

The campaign pitted four groups of recipes (dips, appetizers, sandwiches and desserts) against one another, with fans voting for their favorite recipe by sharing it on their Facebook feed.

At the end of the campaign, all the the Facebook fans received a coupon for the King’s Hawaiian product featured in the winning recipe.

Results: Facebook engagement increased by 11.1% per day and website unique visitors increased 27.7% per day during the extent of the campaign.
